Borobudur mural, Via Marco Polo (Lama Gangchen Peace Art, Leonardo Ceglie)

Western Buddhist thangka artist Leonardo Ceglie brings the sacred to the streets of Milan with his mural of the stupa mandala of Borobudur (Java, Indonesia). The mural, located in Via Marco Polo, 4 near Tsetan Sonam Carpets and two steps from the Kunpen Lama Gangchen was commissioned to celebrate Vesak 2011, commemorating the birth, Enlightenment and parinirvana of historic Buddha Shakyamuni.
