NGALSO HEALING ARTISTS, EXHIBITS AND HUMANITARIAN AID

Since 2008, over 70 international NgalSo artists have been generously donating artwork for collective exhibitions in both Milan and Albagnano near Lake Maggiore in order to celebrate the therapeutic aspects of art and dharma and raise funds for ONLUS Help in Action environmental and humanitarian projects in Nepal and Tibet such as ‘Plant a Tree to Help the Planet Breathe’ (in support of UNEP’s “One billion trees for Life” program) and ‘Water for the Sigma Village’, as well as support projects of Lama Gangchen World Peace Service (LGWPS).

LGWPS is a not-for-profit religious association of Buddhist cult and social utility under the aegis of the Lama Gangchen World Peace Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization affiliated to the United Nations, with ECOSOC status, member of the local forum of Agenda 21. The LGWPF operates throughout the world, promoting a culture of peace, inter-religious dialogue, a cultural, spiritual and material exchange between East and West, the diffusion of non-violent medicine and protection of the environment. In Italy, it is affiliated to the Foundation for a Peace Culture.
